The film follows two families, Mbarushimana and Patrick’s; who experience a terrifying intrusion from an ancient spirit called Rungu. Centuries ago, a cursed family was rejected by their village after a warrior fell in love with one of them and mysteriously died. The villagers rebelled, killing the cursed family and hanging the pregnant woman who had fallen in love. Generations later, her spirit returns; consumed by pain and vengeance haunting pregnant women to share her suffering and rage.
